upcoming speaking engagement

iRocket CEO Asad Malik will be a panelist at the Sagamore National Security Conference at the University of Notre Dame, August 12-13, 2024.

America faces a more complex, more volatile and more dangerous threat environment than anything we have seen since the Cold War. State and nonstate actors are developing tech-enabled weaponry and assaulting the global commons from the seas to space to cyberspace. The inaugural Sagamore National Security Conference at the University of Notre Dame will bring together policymakers, researchers, senior military officers, industry executives and technology leaders to discuss our response to current and emerging threats and the critical role of Midwest companies and institutions in global security and innovation.

The Sagamore National Security Conference is unique in its location and composition. The Midwest is known for its advanced manufacturing capabilities and the University of Notre Dame is a leading research institution developing new technologies and the next generation of leaders to shape the future of global security. The Midwest is also known for its practicality and commitment to service. The Sagamore National Security Conference will feature prominent experts and leaders who recognize the importance of the Midwest to national security and who are committed to collaborative solutions to our most pressing problems.

As SSPI’s “20 Under 35” cohort of 2023, iRocket CEO Asad Malik joined SSPI’s Lou Zacharilla on the podcast published on June 3rd, 2024: In this Better Satellite World podcast series, we ask the question: “What would you do if you had the power to make the world a better place during your career?”

on February 7, 2024, iRocket CEO Asad Mlaik spoke at the Red Beard Ventures Summit 2024, a two-day virtual summit that was a premier event in the Web3 and Frontier Tech space covering a wide range of sectors from blockchain and tokenomics to sports, AI, biotech, and more.

Space is a contested warfighting domain in which adversarial activity threatens the space power advantage of the US military. The DoD relies upon overhead space effects for tactical communications, battlespace intelligence, and PNT services.

These services are all enabled by launch—and the breadth and depth of US military dependency on GPS is acknowledged as a critical national vulnerability.

iRocket CEO Asad Malik discussed the role of launch and commercial PNT solutions in providing tactically responsive space capabilities, gathering perspective with Payload Sapce and TrustPoint, on November 20, 2023.
